Be Kind, Remind.

I actually had posts lined up for today and yesterday. But I didn't have time to finish them. I don't even really have time to be doing this. (Shhhh! Don't tell!)

Again, I hate sounding preachy but this is such a great idea that I felt I should share.

Recently on facebook there was a campaign to change your profile picture to a cartoon character from your childhood in aid of the NSPCC, who later issued a statement saying that it was nothing to do with them. But of course, raising awareness is always a good thing.

An even better thing though, is to do what you can to help and get your Christmas shopping done simultaneously.

I already shared the joys of Oxfam Unwrapped with you (see here), but today I wanted to let you know that if you shop at any of a number of major online retailers this Christmas, a donation will be made (via the 'shop and give' initiative) to the NSPCC, who aim to stop cruelty against children.

For more details, please please follow this link. I am aware though, that this might not be that relevant to my readers from other parts of the globe, but I'm sure there's some kind of local equivalent for you to support!

And I promise to catch-up on those ghost-posts soon.

Ciao for now,
Charlotte

  1. It's great to be able to buy gifts and contribute money to a cause. On every couple of corners in my neighborhood (I live in Rome), there are poinsettias being sold, and the money from the purchases is being given to a charity for leukemia. It's such a nice effort! I saw that you are from the North- I have family up in Sheffield :D In my opinion, England is just so beautiful!
