Pyjama Party

I'm having a pyjama day, don't judge me. I've been revising my bohunkus off and will continue to do so today, but in a slightly lazier way.

Here are my essential companions for a duvet-day:

It's a Mirac-oil!

Buongiorno!

Sunday is the best day for staying in and pampering yourself in preparation for the week ahead (unless, like me, you happen to work a 6 hour shift on a Sunday). So I feel it's only right to share my latest beauty obsession with you.

More and more, the cosmetics industry is moving away from chemicals and returning to natural ingredients, and there is a huge market for this.

The beauty industry, in particular, is going crazy for oils, so I wanted to share a couple that I think are worth the price-tag.

Moroccanoil

I decided to buy this after hearing so many recommendations I could barely keep track (from Sky Showbiz, Lauren Conrad, my hair dresser, Lo Bosworth...). It's available in salons and at online retailers; I bought mine at hair1direct, where a 100ml bottle of the original product cost £29.95 - a teeny bit unkind to your wallet, but as you only need a small amount each time you wash your hair it lasts and lasts. The service from this site was unbelievably quick if you're based in the UK.

The active ingredient is argan oil, and it works to make your hair soft, silky, shiny, more manageable, and - bizarrely - makes it dry faster. For more information, go here. There are a whole range of products, too - great Christmas present ideas!

Bio-Oil

And from hair to skin...

For a product that advertises itself as being for scars and stretch marks, Bio-Oil is really very diverse. I use it for general moisture - especially on my legs - and have tried it on scars and it works there too. It has a gorgeous cinnamon-y smell and apparently works to target the dreaded cell-ew-lite too. For more information, go here.

It's available at most chemists, including Boots, where prices range from £8.99 to £19.99 depending on the bottle's size.

So there you have it. While you're having a mammoth pampering sesh, why not continue the oil-y theme by having a bath with some aromatherapy oils? They're a great way to relieve stress and each target different ailments. You can buy them at most health shops and at Neals' Yard. Have a nice, relaxing day!
